Who is MaterialDistrict 2027 for?
For professional designers, specifiers, clients, advisers, builders and makers who influence material choices in the built environment.
When does MaterialDistrict 2027 take place?
Tuesday 13, Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 April 2027.
Where does it take place?
Midden Nederland Hallen in Barneveld.
What does a ticket cost?
Ticket information will follow once registration opens.
Can I filter the programme in advance by my profession?
Yes. The prototype should be able to show programme and content per audience.
Can I really touch materials?
Yes. Experiencing physical material is a core part of MaterialDistrict, both with participants and in the independent materials exhibition.
How do I get there by car or public transport?
Directions by car, public transport and the shuttle bus from Barneveld station can be found on the Venue page.
For participants
Who can participate?
Organisations and makers that demonstrably contribute to more sustainable materials, products, raw materials, knowledge or applications for the built environment. Editorial selection remains decisive.
Do I have to produce myself?
No. Manufacturers, brand owners, importers, distributors and relevant raw-material suppliers can participate. Your role in the market matters more than the formal production type.
Can I show only a sample?
Yes, via the Sample Materials Exhibition for Innovation Partners, €250 excl. VAT according to the 2026/2027 baseline.
Are there formats for start-ups?
Yes. Innovation Hotspot and compact Tabletop formats are logical routes. Please contact us about the conditions.
Can a trade association or collective participate?
Yes. A custom proposition is used for this instead of a standard stand package.
Are prices public?
Recommended: yes. Transparent prices reduce friction; custom formats get a “plan a conversation” CTA.
