Who is there and what there is to see.
The participant overview, the materials exhibition and the Young Talents selection for 2027 will be filled once registration is open. For this section there is not yet definitive copy in the master document; below is the reserved structure.
Over two hundred new samples, scouted year-round.
The materials exhibition is curated by editor-in-chief Sigrid Lussenburg. The team scouts year-round worldwide for new material developments. In 2026 more than two hundred new samples were on show, from biobased composites and building materials to new applications of residual streams.
For many visitors that selection is exactly why they come: in one place an overview of materials that can be applied directly in projects.

| FRONT Materials & Biomason | The Mimmik Tile: a tile that grows with the help of bacteria, inspired by coral, and is now produced at industrial scale. |
| SAM Panels | A structural I-beam from local residual fibres, as an alternative to traditional timber beams. |
| DC Bricks | Together with the City of Amsterdam a brick made from dredge from the IJ. |
| HempWood Nederland | Floors, panels and beams from hemp. |
| LignoLight | German research project into lignin — a residual product from the paper industry — for lightweight furniture and shoes. |
| Roofclix | A UV-resistant click system for flat roofs that can last up to a hundred years and reduces heat stress. |
| Agne Kucerenkaite | The tile collection Ignorance is Bliss, with glazes from pigments in metal waste. |
| Reduco | Biobased façade panels from Dutch willow wood. |

NextNow pavilion
Materials not as a sample, but in a real living room and kitchen.
In 2026 innovative materials were not only shown as samples, but applied in recognisable interior and outdoor spaces. By showing them in a spatial context, it became visible how biobased and circular solutions can become part of everyday living and working environments.
Young designers with surprising perspectives.
The Young Talents programme is curated by Leonne Cuppen. Recent graduates present their experiments and research: circularity questions around biobased materials, residual streams and regenerative design principles.
